doubt. it is foggy in foggy bottom of all places. maryland, lower eastern shore. here are some of the visibilities around now. past 5:00 in the morning. visibility at reagan national, .3 mile. that is the same, much of southern maryland, across virginia. it's down to zero visibility in culpeper and up bwi, too, down to zero visibility. check with the airline. there may be flight arrival delays that shouldn't cause any problems for planes taking off in the fog. it's those arriving. there may be some problems with that. farther west and north, no fog. temperatures in the mid 40s. just near 40 in washington and prince george's, arlington, fairfax, and southern montgomery county, as well as southern maryland and around the bay. as we look at the view from space, we've had a few breaks in the clouds. a few sprinkles farther west and north. here's the day planner, fog dissipating by mid morning. sunshine during the afternoon. highs reaching the mid 50s this

afternoon. a look at tonight, your friday evening planner, that will be in just about ten minutes. now let's check in with tracee wilkins who has a problem with the traffic. >> reporter: good morning, we're on the inner loop of the beltway. let me show you what it's looking like behind me. that is the accident scene of a fatal accident that happened around 3:00 a.m. this morning. it's involving a tractor-trailer and another vehicle. we understand that this is a fatal accident, and that at some point there was a car fire. so that's what's happening right there. that is on the ramp as you are coming to the -- coming into the inner loop of the beltway off of connecticut avenue. but down on this end, this is where people are now exiting the beltway from -- exiting the beltway to connecticut avenue. you can see that traffic backed up there. it quickly started to pile up as the morning rush began. vehicles trying to get off of the beltway and then on to georgia avenue to work their way around, back on to the beltway.

so this accident investigation is just beginning. maryland state troopers are still making their way on to the scene. we do understand that this is a fatal accident. at this point we don't really have time for when they're looking at opening lanes. we do know that they're trying to quickly open as many lanes as they can as soon as possible. i'm live this morning in montgomery county, back to you all in the studio. >> thank you very much. let's get the latest on traffic from danella. >> good morning, as mentioned, that's going to be a big issue, significant delays on the inner loop as you make your way to connecticut avenue. once you get off at connecticut avenue northbound, that's where you're going to head, make a right on to university boulevard. another right on to georgia avenue. i-95 heading north, this is near the maryland toll house. all the northbound lanes are shuts down at route 80. traveling i-95 southbound, making the trip in laurel. a live look, a lot of fog.

you got to give yourself extra time this morning. allow extra space as you're making your commute. your travel speeds, 64 miles per hour. to get from 216 to the beltway, the trip will take nine minutes. i urge you to slow down this morning. i'm back in ten minutes. back to you. >> thank you very much. breaking news out of prince george's county. two children are in the hospital after a fire ripped through their home. firefighters say the flames started in a townhouse along hillmar drive in district heights around 2:00 a.m. the fire began in the kitchen, firefighters say. four people were inside at the time. a 3-year-old and a 9-year-old were both taken to the hospital. the 3-year-old is listed in critical condition this morning. we have a crew on the way, and we'll bring you latest as soon as it becomes available. developing story this morning. federal investigators are looking into a shooting that left one federal agent dead and another injured. this happened last night at an immigration and customs

enforcement office in long beach, california. long beach police say it appears one agent opened fire on his supervisor after getting into an argument. a third agent opened fire on the shooter, killing him. >> when the incident escalated, one agent fired several rounds at the other agent wounding him. another agent working nearby intervened and fired his weapon to prevent additional rounds being fired at the victim. this resulted in the death of the shooter. >> the injured agent is in stable condition. authorities believe the shooter was acting alone, and this was an isolated incident. today congress is expected to vote on the payroll tax cut extension. the extension was set to expire at the end of the month. the bill keeps the 2% point cut in the tax through the end of the year. it also reduces unemployment benefits from 99 weeks to, at most, 73 weeks. there was some controversy over the bill as the payroll tax cut is not paid for which will add about $100 billion to the deficit. this is congress' last day

before going on break for the next week. and now to decision 2012. rick santorum maintains his lead over mitt romney. the michigan primary is on february 28, and santorum right now holds a slight edge among likely republican voters. santorum leads romney 34% to 30.4% with newt gingrich and ron paul a distant third and fourth respectively. this primary's a big one for romney who was born in michigan, and if he does not win the wolverine state, it could spell big trouble for his campaign. meanwhile, santorum is coming under fire for a comment one of his financial supporters made in an interview about birth control. >> back in my days, they used bayer aspirin for contraceptions. the gals put it between their knees, and it wasn't that costly. >> foster freese is a businessman who donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to santorum's campaign. he made the campaign yesterday on "andrea mitchell reports." later in an interview, santorum

refused to denounce the comment saying he also disagrees with the use of contraception. he did say, however, that birth control would still be available if he were to become president. tensions were high at a congressional hearing on contraception. >> we've been denied the right to have a witness -- >> the gentlelady -- >> i want to have the right to make a -- >> delegate eleanor holmes norton stormed out shortly after this. the hearing stemmed from the white house rule requiring faith-based employers to provide insurance for birth control. norton says she was outraged because the panel included only men. >> they were violating our first amendment rights to talk about that aspect of the controversy that, by the way, is what most women and families were concerned about. >> the second panel for hearing did feature two female guests. 5:07. remembering the life of a journalist. what's being blamed for the death of a former "washington post" reporter. on hold, the reason why

a lot of fog in the region. 41 degrees. really big changes headed our way this weekend. >> that's right. meteorologist tom kierein is tracking the weather. he's going to tell us what we need to know for today and the weekend. good morning. good morning on, this friday at 5:11, most of the fog is confined along the i-95 corridor and areas south and east of there. visibilities from near zero to .3 of a mile. farther west and north, not much fog at all. and temperatures are in the mid 40s in the mountains, shenandoah valley, and areas west and north of washington where the dense fog is, though, right near 40 degrees. 41 at reagan national. the radar show sprinkles maybe of light rain, eastern panhandle of west virginia into loudoun county out of the northern shenandoah valley. there may be a few sprinkles in montgomery county, as well. elsewhere, the cloud cover breaking up. the fog should be breaking up mid morning. then sunshine, temperatures into the mid 50s this afternoon. here's your friday evening planner. clear and breezy, we'll be down to near 40 by midnight. i think we'll have a low impact

dust bust. a small plane flew into marine one's airspace in los angeles while the president was on board. fighter jets intercepted the plane and escorted it to a nearby airport. that's when authorities found more than 20 pounds of marijuana on board. the secret service says the president was never in any danger. a developing story from thailand. police are looking for two suspects part of a botched terror plot against israeli diplomats. authorities in bangkok arrested a group of men suspected of planning terrorist attacks. earlier there were two attacks on israeli diplomats in india and in the country of georgia. israel blames iran for these attacks and say this is more evidence that iran needs tougher sanctions against it. in the day ahead, the vice president of china will wrap up his four-day visit to the u.s. in los angeles. xi jinping will speak at the forum. he's slated to become the

president of china next year. he visited with president obama earlier in the week. one of baseball's best catchers has died. gary carter died yesterday after a nine-month battle with brain cancer. nicknamed "the kid," carter was an 11-time all-star who played for the montreal expos, the new york mets, san francisco giants, and the los angeles dodgers before retiring in 1992. he was the first player to be inducted into the baseball hall of fame with the montreal expos' cap on the plaque. he was 57. the american exchange student acquitted of murdering her roommate in italy landed a book deal. amanda knox signed with harper collins to publish a memoir about the four years she spent in an italian prison. knox was convicted in 2009 of murder while studying in prusha, italy. the verdict was overturned last october. the terms of the book deal have not been released, but the associated press reports the deal is worth around $4 million. this morning the faa is investigating reports that an

intoxicated pilot was prevented from boarding a flight in omaha. frontier airlines flight 1894 was supposed to leave from milwaukee at 6:00 a.m. yesterday. the flight was delayed, though, for two hours. a frontier airlines spokesperson says it has started its own investigation, but since it is a personnel issue, the company cannot comment on the specifics of the case. the pilot's name has not been released. the newseum is marking the president's day weekend by opening a presidential exhibit. every four years, presidential campaigns and the press has a new election year exhibit that looks at the evolution of campaign media coverage over the past 100 years. it includes over 120 artifacts dating back to campaigns in the 1800s. there are also some more recent pieces including the suit tina fey wore to play sarah palin, and the blue suit amy pohler wore playing hillary clinton in a sketch on "saturday night live." the exhibit officially opens

today. and you and i would be interested in seeing that. >> i would love to see that, wonderful. >> take a field trip with the whole morning crew. >> i think we have to do that. yeah, get on a school bus and go down there. our time is about 5:21. tom is looking at weather. tom? >> it's hard to see because there's so much fog. right now around the region, we've got dense fog along the i-95 corridor and points south and east. visibilities from near zero to just .3 of a mile. farther west and north, visibilities are around five to ten miles. not much fog there. but this patchy, dense fog is going to be with us for another couple of hours. right now, temperatures are in the mid 40s farther west and north of washington. right where the fog is rather dense, just near 40 degrees. that is all the way to southern maryland, northern next and eastern shore. the last 12 hours, we've had the cloud cover breaking up. there's still a few sprinkles coming from clouds in the northern shenandoah valley, now just coming in to loudoun county. those may move into the metro area in another half-hour or so. there's the live view from our city camera, looking at national airport. can hardly make it out there

through the fog. fog will be dissipated through mid morning and moving to the mid 50s this afternoon. overnight, clear and breezy, down near 40 through the evening. that's the evening planner. sunset at 5:47. sunrise at 6:57. increasing clouds saturday. it will be chilly in the morning, near 30. afternoon highs into the 50s. that will play a role on whether or not snow is going to accumulate on roads because the road temperature will be mild. in fact, as we get into sunday morning, it may begin as some rain, then change over to snow sunday afternoon. and end sunday night. sunshine back on monday and tuesday, maybe rain on wednesday as we get into midweek next week. here are the impacts i'm expecting from the storm on sunday. the dark blue area could have four inches, perhaps, or maybe a little bit more. the lighter blue area, it's a low impact, around the metro area. a couple of inches is the way it looks now. this, of course, is very preliminary. we'll have updates as the time goes by. you can get more accuracy as we

get closer to sunday. danella? good morning, if you're taking the inner loop of the beltway, tracking a serious accident that had shut down the inner loop of the beltway. this is just past connecticut avenue. right now it looks like you're able to get by on the left lane. some people are even getting by on the left shoulder lane. you're jammed as you make your way toward connecticut avenue. once you pass the accident, it's on the right side of the road. the lanes open up for you, and your commute's not so bad. taking the beltway in prince george's county, a live look now at 201. no issues on the outer loop or the inner loop, just battling fog. inner loop speeds, 63 miles per hour. if you're taking the beltway in virginia, same story, fog is slowing you down. but not too much. inner loop speeds in this area at van dorn, you're at 62 miles per hour, only taking six minutes from the wilson bridge to van dorn street. over to you, eun. traveling into the district on metro this holiday weekend could take you a little extra time. three stations on two lines will

be closed for track work. on the orange line the clarendon and courthouse stations will close at 10:00. metro will provide shuttle buses between the rosalyn and virginia square stations to get you around the closures. on the red line the grove nor-strathmore station will close. all three stations will reopen in time for the rush on tuesday. and under the heading of "what else can go wrong," we have this story. the fda is issuing a warning about a battery-powered toothd brush. the warning is for the arm and hammer spin brush, also known as the crest spin brush. the fda says there have been reports of injuries including chipped teeth, cuts to the mouth and gums, swallowing and choking on broken pieces, as well as injuries to the face and eyes. apparently the thing can fly apart. the fda says users should inspect the spin brush for damage or loose bristles before every use. final preparations are underway for whitney houston's

private funeral tomorrow in newark, new jersey. aretha franklin and stevie wonder will sing. meanwhile, a los angeles radio station suspended radio host john koelbel and ken shampoo for making insensitive and inappropriate comments about the late singer. the radio hosts said houston was "cracked out for 20 years," among other things. kfi am says management does not condone, support, or tolerate statements this kind. houston died saturday at the beverly hilton hotel. investigators are trying to determine the cause of death. she was 48 years old. ♪ >> houston's, husband, bobby brown, was on tour with new edition when he paid tribute to houston. >> i'm going to sends two up for whitney.

northern neck, eastern shore. along i-95 between baltimore all the way toward fredericksburg, some locations near zero visibility. and that includes parts of montgomery county, fairfax, and prince george's county, arlington, and then farther west and north, look at those visibilities, ten miles in gaithersburg, ten-mile visibility in leesburg, and points west and north. really don't have any fog around. temperatures there in the mid 40s. where the fog is dense, it's right near 40 degrees. and as the day progresses, we'll have the cloud cover breaking up. right now, getting a few sprinkles in loudoun county, northern shenandoah valley, north of front royal. and we'll have our fog breaking up mid morning, mid 40s. sunny this afternoon, into the mid 50s by mid-afternoon. sunrise at 6:57. sunset at 5:47. a look at the friday planner in ten minutes. tracee wilkins has the latest on the beltway problems. >> reporter: yeah, good morning. we're still seeing problems continue here behind me. you can see a bit of that accident here on my left-hand side. on my other side, you're seeing

all of the backups that we have here because this accident. now it looks like all of the lanes are open. what they're actually doing is narrowing it down to about two lanes as you get closer to the accident. that's causing a major backup. let me give you a closer look of what the accident looks like. we don't have all of the details yet because state troopers are still working to figure out all the details. we do know that a vehicle and a tractor-trailer were involved in what is now being called a fatal accident. and we also know that at some point there was a vehicle fire involved in this accident, as well. now initially this morning, they have the inner loop shut down between georgia avenue and connecticut avenue. they have since opened up the two left lanes here. and so if you are traveling on the inner loop, you no longer have to detour, you can just keep on the beltway. you're going to be dealing with major backups. to avoid the area altogether, danella has advice for you. good morning. good morning, you're right. it may be better to avoid the

situation altogether. head northbound on connecticut avenue. take a right on university boulevard, then another right on georgia avenue. at that time, you can get back on the beltway. traveling i-95, if you're getting ready to head out of town right now and you think of taking i-95 north, still shut down at this time at route 80. this is near the maryland toll house. have a serious crash there that's still blocking all of your northbound lanes. now heading from baltimore to the beltway, not seeing any issues for you, but i am still seeing a lot of fog as you make your commute. this is a live look at 198 as you travel southbound. those speeds are still pretty good at this time. you're at 64 miles per hour. fog is going to slow you down. and again, if you're traveling the beltway, you can see as mentioned, a lot of congestion here. i would avoid it. still checking the rails for you, no reported delays so far on the metro, marc, and vre. joe, over to you. >> thank you very much. breaking news also in prince george's county. two children are in the hospital after a fire ripped through their home. this happened at a townhouse on

hillmar drive in district heights. news4's megan mcgrath is there live now with the very latest. good morning. >> reporter: good morning, joe. fire officials say that this fire apparently started in the kitchen and then spread up to the second floor. there were two adults and two children sleeping inside at the time. they say that the two adults heard the smoke detector go off. they were able to rescue a 9-year-old boy who was sleeping, get him out safely. they could not reach a 3-year-old girl who was in one of the second story bedrooms. firefighters arrived, they were able to pull the 3-year-old girl out the window, but she was not breathing when they made the rescue. they transported the child to the hospital with cpr in progress. she did regain her pulse at the hospital. she is still, however, in critical condition, fighting for her life. the 9-year-old, we're told, did suffer smoke inhalation, but is going to be okay. in terms of the cause of the fire, all of that is still under

investigation. reporting live in district heights, megan mcgrath, news4. >> thank you very much. in other news, maryland lawmakers could vote on the same-sex marriage bill as earle as this afternoon. last night the house of delegates approved an amendment making the law effective next january instead of this october. the idea is to allow more times to bring the gay marriage issue up for a voter referendum in november. advocates of same-sex marriage have been working this week to get the last couple of votes to reach the 71 needed to pass the bill. the murder trial of former university of virginia lacrosse player is set to resume today after it was postponed because one of george huguely's lawyers was sick. wednesday the defense called their first witness to the stand. the medical expert testified yeardley love suffocated in a pool of blood while lying face down in her pillow. the defense is working to prove huguely's ex-girlfriend did not die from a blow to the head. prosecutors say huguely killed his ex-girlfriend in a jealous rage in may, 2010, slamming her head into a wall. huguely says he's innocent.

earlier this week, the judge said if a verdict is not reached today, court will be held tomorrow. well, the nationshtional han prince george's county could have a casino. an executive says he wants the county to develop a world-class destination that features game, live shows, dining, and lodging. he wants to build the facility in a vacant area of the harbor. baker estimates it could cost $1 billion and bring 5,000 jobs to the county. residents tell us they lake the idea of creating jobs given the tough economy. >> think that's a good thing for the community, you know. i definitely think it's a good thing, you know, because it's definitely rough out here. definitely rough. >> a lot of people want jobs. it's hard out here to find jobs. >> i don't know mind if it brings money to the county and jobs. they're leaving the county to

find jobs anyway, so why not? >> prince george's county members of the maryland legislature have complained it the proposal. they say they had no advance knowledge about it. some fear it could damage a proposed slot machine bill. virginia state lawmakers killed a bill that would have strengthened the commonwealth's no texting and driving law. right now it's a secondary offense, meaning officers can only ticket violators if they're pulled over for another offense like spooeding. the propose -- speeding. the proposed bill would have made it a primary offense. texting isn't the only thing distracting drivers. safety experts say your dashboard is just as bad with everything from navigation to your cell phone and even the fancy climate and radio controls. a lot is going on in there while you're driving. now, the national transportation safety board wants to disable certain features like web browsing. yet you don't want to do that while driving. it could easily distract drivers. they say the feature should only be available while the vehicle is in park. car dealers say that the

welcome back. a developing story. a federal agent is dead after an argument with his supervisor. this all unfolded inside a federal building in long beach, california. news4's aaron gilchrist is in the newsroom with overnight developments. good morning. >> reporter: good morning, this involved three agents in the immigration and customs enforcement office. that supervisor is in the hospital this morning after he was shot, too. here's what we know at this point. two agents got into some sort of altercation in an office on the seventh floor of the glen anderson federal building in long beach about 5:30 west coast time yesterday evening. one agent drew his service weapon and fired several times at another agent, believed to be his supervisor. the fbi leading the investigation and says the gunman was shot by a third agent.

>> another agent working nearby intervened and fired his weapon to prevent additional rounds being fired at the victim. this resulted in the death of the shooter. at this time we believe this was an isolated incident, and we believe the shooter was acting alone. >> reporter: right now the fbi is in the early stages of this investigation. we're told the wounded agent is in stable condition. no names being released this morning while investigators still try to figure out why all this happened inside a federal law enforcement office. in the newsroom, aaron gilchrist, news4. >> thank you. and now to decision 2012 in which rick santorum maintains his lead over mitt romney. the michigan republican primary is on february 28, and santorum right now holds a slight edge among likely republican voters. the latest poll from the "detroit news" has santorum leading romney 30.to 30.4%. newt gingrich and ron paul a distant third and fourth respectively. this primary is vital for romney

who was born in michigan. if he doesn't win the wolverine state, it could spell big trouble for his campaign. meanwhile, santorum is coming under fire for a comment one of his financial supporters made in an interview on the subject of birth control. >> back in my days, they used bayer aspirin for contraception. the gals put it between their knees, and it wasn't that costly. >> foster freese, a businessman who has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to santorum's campaign, made that comment yesterday on "andrea mitchell reports." in a later interview, santorum called the comments a "stupid joke" and "in bad taste." he says he's not responsible for everything his supporters say. this morning an elementary school in virginia is closed because of a norovirus outbreak. a number of student and teachers at the cople elementary school in hague in westmoreland county have come down with the virus. as a precaution, the school will be closed today. department of health officials

say if your child experiences any symptoms, keep him or her home at least 48 hours after the symptoms have ended before sending your child back to class. metro is helping george washington university in a cleanup effort to prevent the norovirus from spreading there. this week, nearly 100 students have become sick. school officials are asking students to wash their hands more often. metro wiped down surfaces at the foggy bottom station which services both the george washington campus and the hospital. a warning as you make your way to work and school this morning. there have been more than half a dozen armed robberies in the district since last night. it's all part of a recent crime trend. d.c. police say five robberies were reported throughout the district yesterday morning alone. officers handed out flyers to people to the street warning them about the rise in street robberies. police say thieves are targeting people with handheld devices like iphones and ipads and ipods. police arrested two people for robberies earlier this week. frostburg state university

says campus police will patrol nearby city streets. the measure comes in the wake of two student deaths off campus in the past two years. the university and city officials say the school will also give the city of frostburg, maryland, $200,000 a year to increase the size and salaries of the city police force. in november, sophomore courtney mccoy was stabbed to death by a fellow student. in 2010, college basketball player brandon carroll was shot and killed by a fellow student, as well. today teachers across virginia will wear all black to protest funding cuts. the virginia education association is calling it black friday and says it's "a day to mourn the" -- "the day of mourning to commit the lack of commitment to public education." the association points to recent cuts totaling more than $1 billion. the vea says the cuts are hurting teacher morale and are harmful to students. the struggling hospital is asking the district for $15 billion to try to finance a

turnaround. united medical center in southeast washington says the cash would help fund new branding and forgive a $6 million loan. the district took over the united hospital late last year after the previous owners defaulted. many council members pushed to keep the hospital open because it is the only hospital east of the anacostia river, but other district officials want to sell it quickly. mayor gray said he will carefully review the request. and a bowie madison in the hospital in critical condition this morning after being rescued by his twin brother. the two men got trapped inside their car when it veered off the road near stoecnehaven lane in bowie. firefighter travis murdoch arrived and quickly realized the driver was his twin brother, chris, also a member of the bowie volunteer fire department. chris is hospitalized now in baltimore. a passenger in the car was injured but is expected to survive. >> what are the chances? we've heard stories about twins

sensing when the other is feeling a certain way. interesting. >> yeah. 5:51. tom, our ears are perked up, than we aren't always when you're talking. when you said snow after this long stretch of no snow -- >> after all, it is coming on a holiday weekend, too. so the disruptions should be somewhat minor. but it may be the biggest snow of the season so far. that's not saying a lot. we haven't had much. i'll have my estimate coming up in a couple of seconds. first of all, we're dealing with fog. in fact, patchy, dense fog right now. these are the latest visibilities, and they're down to just .3 mile in washington, up and down the i-95 corridor. some locations, visibilities near zero. watch out for deer. watch out for pedestrians, hard to see. keep it in mind that the drivers won't be able to see you either in this dense fog. there's no fog, however, farther west and north. so it is confined along the i-95 corridor and in southern maryland. temperatures around 40. west and north, though, where there is that much fog, in the mid 40s. over the last 12 hours, we've

had the fog really developing rapidly. and now we're getting a few sprinkles where you see this patch of green, northern fauquier, into loudoun county, northern montgomery. and that may hold together, it may have a brief sprinkle in montgomery, in toward the district later the next half-hour. sunrise at 6:57. fog dissipating. mid morning, hitting the 50s with lots of sun, clear, breezy, chilly this friday. we'll be down to near 40 by midnight. by dawn saturday, near 30. increasing clouds tomorrow, mid 50s. then rain likely in the morning on sunday. changing to snow by noontime. accumulating snow sunday afternoon. monday, tuesday, sun back, could get rain on wednesday. here are my estimates now, very preliminary. it does look like around the metro area we might get just an inch to perhaps three inches. again, mainly that's on grassy areas, but that darker blue zone farther to the west and north, not too far west and north, we could get four inches or more. this is a very preliminary estimate. danella, how's traffic? still following breaking

closures you could run into. >> reporter: metro is using a long twoend do major track work. three stations will be closed on two lines. let's talk about the orange line. you'll find that on that particular line the clarendon and the courthouse stations will close at 10:00 tonight for some switch work there. metro providing free shuttle buses between rosalyn and the virginia square stations to get you around the closures. the other closures are going to be on the red line. and what you'll find is that you won't have access to the stations at grovenor, that will be closed as crews work to improve cell phone service, as well. you will also need to catch a free shuttle bus between the white flint and the medical center stations to get around the closure there. all of these stations will close tonight at 10:00. and then you won't see them reopening until tuesday morning at rush hour because the president's day holiday is on monday. it weekend a weekend day on monday. back to you.

>> thank you. several virginia roads will have new route numbers. three local parkways have been upgraded to from secondary to primary routes. forecast will switch to -- prince william parkway will go from route 3000 to route 294. the forecast parkway will go from 7100 to 285. and the fraction-springfield pay will change from 7900 to route 289. all roadways will be eligible for funding and maintenance from the federal government. maryland is looking to increase boat fees to help make up for the cost of running boating projects. if you own a boat smaller than 16 feet, a new bill would make you pay $50 every two years to register that vessel. the price goes up as the boats get larger. the biggest boats would cost owner about $700. maryland's department of natural resources says it has about $15 billion available for boating projects, but three times that in actual project cost. chrysler withdrew its application for a u.s.
